CLOTHING PREP

Step 1: Check Every Item
Inspect clothing carefully for stains, broken zippers, missing buttons, tears, holes, or excessive wear. Items must be clean and in excellent condition.

Step 2: Wash and Prepare
Wash clothing and remove wrinkles before bringing it to the event. Clean, fresh, wrinkle-free clothing sells better!

Step 3: Use Plastic Hangers
Plastic hangers only. No wire hangers.
Use children's plastic hangers for smaller sizes and larger plastic hangers for bigger children's, junior, and maternity clothing.
Pro Tip: Hang clothing so the hanger faces left like a question mark (?).

Step 4: Bundle Similar Items
Combine lower-priced, similar items to create a minimum value of $4.00.
Great items to bundle include baby onesies, infant gowns, pajamas, matching tops and bottoms, leggings, and T-shirts.

Step 5: Pin Pants Correctly
Use large safety pins to attach pants securely to the hanger. Keep pants flat and visible instead of folding them over the hanger.

Step 6: Secure Sets Together
Keep outfits and sets securely together. Pin pants to the back of the shirt so both pieces can easily be seen. Secure accessories so they do not become separated.

Step 7: Sort Before Drop-Off
Sort clothing by gender and size before arriving. This helps make Drop-Off faster and more organized.
